Genesis of  Kendriya Vidyalaya, Tagore Garden 

 K.V Tagore Garden was established in 1969 as a civil sector school in Delhi. It is a renowned institute with approx. 2700 students and 93 staff members.

It provides profound multifarious opportunities to all the students in curricular and co-curricular areas. Existence of enlivening and compatible environment of this Vidyalaya nourishes a joyful experience in cognitive & non-cognitive dimensions. K.V Tagore Garden since its inception has been shouldering the onerous task of imparting quality education to its students with unflinching sincerely. This Vidyalaya aims at producing good citizens by fostering the values and feelings of national Integration. We have created an infrastructure which brings about the co-ordinate development of head, heart and hand. The network of hobbies and activities encompasses almost the whole school population and had become the heart throb of this school curriculum. With profound satisfaction, I bring before you a condensed version of the success story of the school in diverse fields.

Important milestone of the School

?         Mohit Chopra have been selected to represented the world future league Indian Cricket team in the forthcoming WFL T20 Asia Cup.

?        Our School participated in KVS Regional Level Social Science Exhibition 2009 at KV Janak Puri & bagged 2^nd Position in Jugal Bandhi, 1^st Position in Sketches & Collages Competition (Jr.), 1^st Position in Group Song Competition & Chart named Ranges of Germany.

 

Year Wise Expansion

?        School beginning from 1969 has two buildings containing Primary and Secondary and Sr. Secondary wing.

?        The first batch of class X and class XII passed out in 1979

?        The school has now 4 sections of class I to Class V and 5 section from Class VI to XII and has 2581 students at present.
